Mahogany
Mahogany is a reddish-brown timber of three tropical hardwood species which is commercially used for a wide variety of goods, due to its beauty, colour and durability. Mahogany is a valuable lumber used for panelling, furniture, boats, musical instruments, and other items. The weight of Mahogany can range from 500 kg/m3 to 850 kg/m3 depending on its species.
Mahogany as a fine, smooth and consistent texture with minimal blemishes in the wood. The tree commonly grow to a height of 15m but some species have been know to grow to up to 45m with a buttress of 5 meters.
